Is Mary His mother?
The Word was God.
and the word is Jesus Christ correct?
No, the Word is Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is:
God
The word (incarnate)
Our savior
Our salvation
Mary is His mother!
Hence:
Mary is the mother of God!
Mary is the mother of The word!
Mary is the mother of The our savior!
Mary is the mother of Our salvation!
To deny this is to either deny that Jesus is not these or that Mary is not His mother!

Mother of His entire person does not imply source, nor the mother of the divine nature, but mother of God!

If God had a mother, then He is not eternal.
Why equate mother with source?
All we say is Jesus is divine
Mary is his mother by human nature and relationship not divine nature!
But he is God
