but as you just justified the skull thing and the demons as allegorical stories of what I was to talking about what I am now. a hindu unless he sees all of your tats(if they mention a redemption) or talks to you will not now.

I only mentioned the skulls because they were prominent on your link that you posted.

Christian designs are supposed to point people to the Lord, anyway.

when I was in dungeons and dragons. I was into that for a while. I played the role playing games in the army for a year. if I did that again and lets say I put an demon, say a balrog. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=balrog+lord+of+the+rings&FORM=HDRSC2
before the movies of lotr and the hobbit chapter one. no one outside of those that read or watched the older movies would know about that(yes those that played d&d and read the trilogy) they would assume that it was a demon and chastise me.its a demon and that is what its supposed to be. I understand the context but some wont. in not against art but some art will cause some to stumble. farouk have you been to an art show? I have twice with my wife.i will go into that when you respond

I have been to art events from time to time. I guess it's a matter of concentrating on the good.

I certainly don't object to the idea of a Bible ref. in ornate lettering, on a wrist or arm.

I used to be in a local church where several of the ladies would wear plunging tops, so to speak. I guess it's a matter of what to concentrate on.

Some tats are rather small and benign,with faith content, anyway.

yes I know that but, you forget that the flood gate is now been opened by you.what is art to you that shouldn't be on your person?
1) demonic imagery as balrog, the devil, saim hain?
2) icons of false gods?
3) trees and other benigns images?

Not overtly bad things, no.

Up here we have a Maple Leaf flag; I don't find it problematic, though.

I've not seen any maple leaf tattoos, though...

Anyway up here I talked to a guy that had the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on his arm. Not only the reference but the whole verse. Amazing! I reckon he gets to talk to a lot of folk (which is presumably why he did it.)

I would have thought that the onus is on individual proclamation rather than on who, someone, somewhere, might not like the Gospel...
