| Customerreview | Granddaughter is thrilled with her new Bible  This is my granddaughters' first Bible and she began to read it as soon as she opened the package. It is very well done so a young reader can understand it and easily memorize verses. There are some pictures but not too many. I like that it is hard cover so it will be very durable for a young person. I would recommend this Bible to anyone purchasing a Bible for a child. Perfect for 8 and 10 year old I purchased this Bible for my 8 and 10 year old boys. We are Catholic, but not ultra religious. I needed something that they could use with their Bible course in our homeschool curriculum. Although my boys are very bright ( the younger one actually skipped a grade) I found these Bibles to be right on par for their age which they are in 4th grade. I believe it is recommended for a younger age bracket as well, but I would NOT recommnded it for a younger age. For my younger 5 year old, I will get her the Adventure Bible Reader made by the same company when I buy hers. It is just a little bit better for the little ones. My boys like this one, because it is not "baby" with all the cartoon characters and such. They feel more like grown ups and are able to understand the material. Heavier than my expectation...  Overall printed status, pictures were perfect. But, for children's book, it was somewhat heavy to carry every sunday... Uninformed product description  I ordered these cassettes, and when they came part of the New testement was missing, when I contaced the seller she thought I was referring to "compact discs", and not cassettes, and said she indicated that it was missing cassetes in the product description, had that been true I would have never ordered it.(common sense). Extremely dissappointed but thankful that I was refunded for the product, and gave it to a neighbor who is unable to work, so someone got blessed other than me. Perfect Item Needed this item to teach my son more and to help him with his reading skills while developing christianity skills. Item in great shape and perfect for needs! |
