| Customerreview | Um, it's the Bible  Amazon asked me to review my recent purchases. I bought this Bible at the request of a young man in Pakistan named Basim. A year ago he wrote to me asking me to send him a Bible. I sent him the Good News edition. He read it. This year he wrote to me asking for a more scholarly Bible. My favorite is the NRSV Annotated. It's a good book. ;) Revised Standard Version Bible Great size, nicely bound with paper cover, readable print, includes concordance. Nice, sturdy addition to a study library. Exellent Quality and Translation I own this version and am very happy with it. The quality of the binding and paper are excellent as is the print. Of course the translation is also excellent. I agree with the review of the hardcover of this bible that it is the most readable version for Americans. Super savers shipping was on time and in good condition. Did not care for  It was not what I thought it would be. I rahter stick with the study bible. I actually used this bible as a stand by for the young adults that I teach on Wednesday. That is only if they do nto have one of their own. NRSV Holy Bible w/ Apocrypha I've been looking for this version of the Holy Bible & have wanted to read the Apocrypha books. What a bargain to get both in one. |
