Natural theology is a concept that God created the universe through the observable world and that we can understand God's creation through the natural observable world, but did any of the early church fathers believe this?

Hey All,
This sounds like a secular version of
Romans 1:16-20:

Romans 1:16-20 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Why does it need a label?

Keep walking everybody.
May God bless,
Taz

No idea, why not use the search function in answersingenesis or creation.com.
They do refer back the the writings of the early church leaders, to show that they believed in yec.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

There was no form as it was void as God spoke it all into existence, so there is no natural theology.

I think Josef answered this very well.

I might also add:

Psalm 19:1 (NASB)
1 The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

Psalm 97:6 (NASB)
6 The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His glory.
