This is a sneaky little harassment used by L by D. If I complain, I will look like the one with the problem. Guess frustration slipped through the cracks of such a pious woman.

I'm helping this forum by challenging the good and decent ones. That they can only look good and decent by the presence of people like me. Without the presence of people like me, this forum would be a snoozefest.

Well, maybe it would be a snooze fest. Didn't realize you are atheist? And, you actually did make me cry at my computer. I guess I should just stay in the theology section.
 
Hey I'm overdue for a good and decent role. Maybe I should go back to Twitter. That place sure needs some goodness and decency. Light in the darkness.
 
Light in the darkness. There's the core theme. Jesus and his message was the Light. The Light in Darkness. Apostles like Peter hoped for a physical coup d'etat. A violent overthrow. But God's Kingdom was different. The world needed this message because it was living in the dark. The light was love. But they took a long time to fully understand the message.
But if there was already light in the World, there would be no need for Jesus. No original sin, no need for Jesus.
Each of our lives is a story. We all need to grow and mature. And part of this is confronting the darkness in our soul. The lack of love basically. Lack of self respect too. None of us are only light. We need to work on something.
 
So true love didn't really exist until Jesus arrived on the scene?
So all the characters in the OT weren't truly loving?
That's not right.
What about before God arrived with Moses?
People lived darkness. They needed structure and God gave them the Commandments. But the Commandments were just training wheels for his main theme. Love.
We need to ask ourselves what love is . Because it's more than just obeying laws and being kind.
 
Love is forgetting about yourself and putting God first, others second and yourself last. That's when you feel the joy.
Jesus first
Others second
Yourself last
1 Corinthians 13
That chapter gives us lots of ingredients we need to put in love.
The whole of the bible tells us about love.
