Favorite rock music from the 60's

Which songs/bands from 60's do you remember being your favorites. For me, it is too many to count.

Being a Vietnam war vet and baby boomer[born 1950], I still tend to gravitate a lot toward the 60's and 70's, but also years up to the present.
I was in High School these 2 songs came out during the Vietnam war era [I joined in '68]. I would like to ask how many here grew up in those exciting times. But perhaps younger people may also find some of the songs enjoyable..

For my 1st song, it would be by "The Doors" who were hot at this time, [but I only like the long version of this song.].

CCR lives on from the 60s.

In the 90s when I was a teen me and my buddies used to crank Molina everytime in the car on the way to, well, whatever party or wherever we were going for a good time was.

Maybe it was 70s song . I don't know.

Sorry for hogging all the posts here but ......
This song I first heard on a bus trip aged 10. We were travelling to another town to play football. It was an other worldly sound. So mysterious. I thought to myself " the world out there is so interesting, so mysterious...I can't wait to grow up!"
