i am not the judge of salvation .i we only give the message jesus said unless you repent you shall all perish

No one is asking if you are the judge of a persons salvation.

Only Christ is the Judge of our salvation.

Here is the question I asked.

If a person is truly born again, in which they follow Jesus, and serve Him, then wander away from Him and become lost, does that mean they were never saved?

i am not a osas teacher preacher .i lean towards that teaching due to the facts we can be secure in him . as i stated we are only saved one time one time only.. we are commanded to repent. i discussed this in a meeting with a southern baptist after they figured out i committed the unpardonable sin.... a gen baptist in a southern baptist church and we was trying to grow . imo any person who professes to be saved .has no repentance/ ignores chastisement--is not saved. i lean more towards
perseverance if the saints ..those truly saved will stick with it .
but the real good news is no disrespect towards you when i say this.. but i really dont owe any one a explanation of how i
believe . the Bible says he has promised us eternal life and that we can know . the gen baptist more less says we generally baptist and the atonement is for all who will be saved not a select few.
this
makes about the 3rd time i have explained this, i hope those having a allergic reaction can get over it..
time after time it turns to a heated discussion . when i get fed up i say what i mean.. i
appreciate the discussion ..but no i dont believe if one is saved they can do what they want after salvation and still go to heaven ..THAT IS NOT BIBLE i am like the song the the perrys sing iam saved
Ezra,
I don't think this is the place to discuss this.
I'll only say this...I DO understand what you're saying...
However, Jesus Himself answered the question at hand in Luke 8:13...
HE said that some believe FOR A WHILE and then they fall away at a time of temptation.

I don't know why it's necessary to debate something Jesus said so clearly, but, alas, many do.

Please start a thread on OSAS if you wish to continue....

we dont know the point of no return--lost God is not sitting up in heaven just waiting to turn someone into burnt toast .when they wonder away and once again WE do not know when they become lost again . this is a far as i will go with you ..your welcome to your belief..i dont condemn you for it

The Lord will do whatever it takes, even giving His own life for us, to save our eternal soul.

He loves us.

However it is up to us to repent and turn to Him.

Maybe this discussion should be stopped here so we can get back to discussing the ToS instead of OSAS. I suppose someone will feel the need to get in the last word though, right?
