Lots, but you would need at least 15 years of teaching to be on the same page with me. I just can't overcome that in a few posts.

This is why I'm focusing on the beginning!

Thank you for taking the time to come down to my level and try to teach me the elementary things of your philosophy.

:salute

Be blessed.

I think you understand the spirit of obedience very well and the importance of a personal one on one relationship with our Lord, but you seem to be in dire need of understanding the spirit of humility. Your posts seem to be bordering on arrogance.

Obedience has nothing to do with a correct fulfillment of pisteuo. Obedience is a fruit of the Spirit, God's nature flowing through us after we have received the Spirit of Christ by a Continually surrendered life.

Just like when Paul sins, it's not him doing it, it's the sinful nature in him doing it! The same is true when he does something righteous like an act of real obedience once in a while. It's not him doing it, but the Spirit of Christ inside him doing it. All because of a correct fulfillment of pisteuo, a Continually surrendered life.

As for arrogance, I get that alot! It's not intentional and certainty not the only flaw with this vessel. If you can't get past the fact I will never be " good enough" to be a servant of the most high God, you'll never get the message!

There's a very long line of people who feel the same as you.

I apologize for maybe stepping out too boldly on the use of the word "arrogance". Maybe you just need to fine tune your delivery of your message. I think we all need that lesson from time t time.

God's word tells us that because we are not of the world the world will hate us.

Even if we have the Spirit of Christ sealed in us, we are still capable of falling into that mindset.

So if I find myself not liking someone, I take an extra look, just to make sure!

When a called out one is fulfilling pisteuo correctly, and eventually recieves the Spirit of Christ, he has the ability to stand alone and lack nothing, that's is God's primary purpose for the called. The being taught other truths could be for specific purposes beyond His hope for every called out one.
The other truths would be mostly taught by " the gifted teachers" identified in Eph 4, discerned by the Spirit of Christ inside.

We fulfill saving faith that comes by God's grace (unmerited favor) through Christ Jesus who is our hope of saving faith as we believe He is the only begotten Son of God, being the word of God come in the flesh of man. God has raised Him from the dead and now sits at the right hand of the Father who is our mediator before Him in all righteousness. There is only one truth that only comes by the Holy Spirit sent down by God after Jesus ascended up to heaven who teaches and bares witness of the word of God in all truth that no man apart from the Holy Spirit can teach us nothing.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

If one can not understand this then they have not the Spirit of Christ in them through the Spiritual rebirth from above and are none of His own as the Spirit of Christ is the Holy Spirit that is the Spirit of God within Deity of the Godhead.

And what page would that be as you deem you are superior over all of us in your learning, but neglect to give us the teachings of Christ for what God gave Him to speak and commanded Him to do!!!

That sir is a haughty attitude to have as no one who is in Christ and He in them are going to take any mans word for what they speak unless it lines up with what God already has spoken and given to Jesus to teach us by His Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Sorry, but I don't see obedience listed in the fruits of the Spirit as obedience comes from when we surrender our will to God's will as we walk in the Spirit as we crucify this flesh daily. It's not a continually surrendered life as we surrender all to Him as through the Spiritual rebirth from above we have risen with Christ and seek those things from above where Christ sits at the right hand of the Father.

Just like when Paul sins, it's not him doing it, it's the sinful nature in him doing it! The same is true when he does something righteous like an act of real obedience once in a while. That would be like us saying the devil made me do this as we want to blame someone else for our sin instead of owning it and confessing it to Christ. We do not do acts of obedience once in a while, but are to be obedient to God's commands 24/7as long as we are walking in His Spirit. Will we fall off that narrow path at times, yes because we are still living in this corruptible body as flesh and Spirit will always war against each other and sometimes the flesh will win a battle, but never the war, but yet a humbled heart will always be forgiven.

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:3-8

Obedience has nothing to do with a correct fulfillment of pisteuo.

Obedience is the correct fulfillment of pisteuo.

If believe isnt fulfilled by obeying then the believing was done in vain.

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-10

If a person believes Jesus Christ is their Lord, but doesn’t obey Him as Lord, their believing (pisteuo) is of no use.

“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? Luke 6:46

"So the question, what happens when we receive the Mind of Christ, and what's it like to live with it every day?"

Watchman: I always love your questions . . .

I describe in detail in my first book about the Holy Spirit coming to me. It was a bit unusual so a lot of people don't believe me entirely.

It was 1982 and I was sitting in an AA meeting. Suddenly I felt light headed and then euphoric. This lasted about three minutes. At the end of the experience I seemed to cross over an invisible threshold and I suddenly believed in God. In the next few days I was told that I was lovable. I was told God loved me and I should love myself. All of my fears disappeared. I was full of energy and most of the WILLINESS to change and become a better person. I was told the help other recovering people and I did with great job. I was happy most of the time. Here is the catch. The Holy Spirit did not reveal herself. I thought I was talking directly to God and Christ was not even mentioned.

In 2015 it happened again. I felt a buzzing in my head. I fell asleep and dreamed of the Holy Spirit coming to me. When I woke up I believed in Christ. I believed he was more than a prophet. I believed he died on the cross for my sins. I believed he was resurrected. I was so euphoric for days after that and some people thought I had gone off the deep end. But the water was great! The problem was that the Holy Spirit did not mention the Bible so I am having problems trusting what the Bible says. Somethings in the Bible have always troubled me. So I am now trying to study it again with my new mind of Christ.

I do not now what is next but I still feel loved and guided by the Holy Spirit. I was given the mission of helping people so I go into the prisons, I help people in their recovery from addiction, and I have adopted an orphanage in Kenya.

This is God bless you in Swahili: Mungu Akubariki
