WHY ARE PEOPLE IN DENIAL CONCERNING THIS DAY OF RECKONING?

Why are some people seemingly unphased by what is taking place. In fact many are continuing in their (bad) behaviors when others feel a sense of urgency to purify their hearts wanting to be ready for the Lord. This short video I made I believe will help give you godly insight into this end time division between the goats and the sheep.

If people do not recognise or understand what sin is, one cannot expect them to be concerned about a punishment for something they believe does not exist.

To put it simpler.
If people believe there is no speed limit they will not expect to get speeding tickets.

Some are unphased as they are told all of what is happening today is a "new normal" and "that's okay."

A phrase I've heard that gets me thinking, "If you don't believe in something, you'll fall for anything." It seems to ring true.

Many people that try to live away from God, they do not want to face moral accountability for their actions. They want to keep believing that they can do whatever they want and they will get away with what they are doing. Oh, how wrong they are and how sad they fall into the illusion of "secret sin". How sad will be the day when they stand before the true and righteous judge.


By the way, where you're at looks so beautiful! I'm jealous. =P

There are many in "the church", that are there for a lot of reasons not having anything to do with God, and have no desire to prepare for the end or even think about it - as you said. DENIAL. See and hear from them all the time.

A simple premise I've tried to live by, is that if I'm continually working towards perfection, even though I'll never achieve it in this life time, and as Paul said, "keep my eye on the goal", and "endure until the end", then everything will take care of itself.
A pretty simple way to look at my faith, but it's too easy to get caught up in ideas that aren't even biblical, and be distracted by things that don't even matter to GOD..

I have been with people with terminal cancer, who know of my faith, yet stay silent.
Unfortunately a hard heart sees nothing can be gained by seeking God, because everything is as it is.

The issue is about how much we see life as a denial of our final end, or a journey of love and seek out ways of helping others. Opportunities come, when emotional realities hit home, but in todays society with so many distractions, often the time never appears.

Shinning as a light in the darkness, is often the greatest light their is, because it makes people wonder why life is so beautiful to the believer, when things seem so empty and lost in the world. God bless you

You are right on all points. and I agree.
May I add that I am 77 years old and have been with the Lord 42 years, and my experience as a believer over those years is that the heart of those in the world continues to get "HARDER" towards a lot of things "including" GOD.

I've also noticed that as this hardness of heart and the distance from God continues to grow, that events in the world continue to get worse, such as forest fires, storms, and peoples actions towards each other continue to grow more and more VIOLENT.

As man continues to remove himself from Gods reality, there is a void that satan seems to be filling more and more, as we as believers have eyes to see and ears to hear, and verses in scripture that warn us of the last days that God describes in the bible, continue to get closer, but thank you God it is with your undeniable, LOVING patience.

I'd say, up until the last 10 years or so, there was a kind of day to day stability in our culture for the first 60 + years of my life.
Yes there were forest fires, and weather issues, even a disturbance periodically between people, all those years. A kind of "normality" of events from year to year.

BUT...about 10+ years ago a "SHIFT" started to begin, A NOTICEABLE SHIFT (Capitalization isn't screaming, I"M simply making a point).
And since then, the VIOLENCE continues to grow in MAGNITUDE between people, between countries, the weather continues to be more and more violent and destructive, and now we have the PANDEMIC, and mental health is now the #1 health issue in this country as it was predicted by specialists over 5 years ago, along with the major health issues that come with obesity.
To many other issue to mention, but for the non-believer, the world is now increasingly becoming a scary place to be as never before in world history, as so many things are becoming increasingly disturbing and frightful.
Even for children, the world is becoming a scary place, where even the internet isn't safe.

As Christians, we have a front row seat and are aware of what is happening, and yes, as you said, we need to be the "light of the world" to a world that continues to feel the pressure of a growing and LOOMING end to come, as the PRESSURE COOKER of life continues to gain strength and momentum, and THERAPISTS increasingly get more business, as life is becoming more difficult to manage and navigate for more and more people with no "Protector" as we have, and no peace or hope as we have.
More and more people have rejected any idea of God, and so these events will continue and there will be more and more confusion about world events including trying to control the end that is coming by using "GLOBAL WARMING" as an excuse for world events, that mask and allow that "DENIAL" that there is a GOD IN CONTROL, and the earth has a EXPIRATION DATE, a TIME STAMP if you will.
It's the worlds reality that REPLACES GOD, so they have something they can believe as the world falls into more and more caous.

I agree.

This reminds me of these verses found in Romans.

Rom 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

It needs to begin in the church were there needs to be teaching on sin and the consequences of it instead of all the feel good messages that leaves the soul void of the consequences of sin. These teachings need to be brought to the streets of the world as faith comes by hearing the word of God as knowledge needs to abound in everyone's lives, but yet many will refuse to hear, but that should never stop us from trying as the Holy Spirit gives us the words to speak to others.
