My summer break isn't until next month - We have a different schedule due to being home-schooled. Anyway, my plans for this summer....Learn to drive, hopefully find a friend, maybe finish some of my computer projects, and get a job. Going camping or doing some kind of outdoor activity like that...
I've had many "dream jobs" over the years. My earliest was writer, and I used to write a lot of books when I was in my pre-teens(Nothing good mind you, but I enjoyed writing them). At some point writing changed to writing AND movie directing and maybe acting....I was planning to make movies out...
Well, I'm 16 now, but I definitely want to get married and have kids someday. No time soon though, probably in about 5 or 6 years :P I know a lot of people talk about how many kids they want someday, but that's not really anything I've ever thought about. I come from a family with 9 kids, me...
Wow, that is amazing....I was just on my way over here thinking about making this exact same thread...Even the part about "joining groups".
But yeah, I'm in the same boat as you - 16, no friends outside of the internet, and it's really....annoying that way, for lack of a better term. I was just...
My parents never did the Santa thing, or the Easter bunny. It's always been very clear that it's about God, and Jesus. Of course, we always knew about Santa, and occasionally watched movies with him in it, but I never believed he was real. And I don't plan on telling my future kids that he's...
Well, you could ask a compound question, like "Is he the one who lies, and does he guard Hell's door?"
That's two questions in one sentence...Does that count? :P
(If not I'll have to think about it a bit more...)
Answer:
Ask one guard if the other guard is the one that always tells the truth. If he says yes, he must be lying, because they can't both tell the truth. If he says no, he must be telling the truth, because they can't both be liars.
Welcome to the forum, Phill!
Also, it's nice to see other gamers here - Yes, I'm a gamer too :P
@GamingDiscussion: I'm a PC gamer myself - Can't afford an Xbox or PS3, sadly. Plus, I can make mods for games on the PC, you can't really do that with consoles.
Anyway....We're wandering a bit...
Here's mine: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27388528/Images/desktop.jpg
The icons are getting a bit cluttered at the moment...At least four icons which shouldn't be there.
Anyway, I like to keep my tools on the top, and games at the bottom :D
I don't really get Spring break(I'm home schooled), but I've had that problem after the Summer and Christmas breaks.
For a little while, I was having a problem where I'd keep falling asleep during school, almost every day. I remedied that by setting my alarm to wake me up one hour before...
I'm home schooled, so no school plays for me, but when me and my siblings were younger, every year we'd do a play of Jesus's birth on Christmas. I was always Joseph, except for the last year I did it, where I was the donkey Mary rode on, and my younger brother was Joseph :P
