I agree that, where it may be fun to speculate on various hypothesis, it should be left to the theoretical. From viewing the video, however, if what they say is true, [again, as I speculate] it could be a possible theory to address things that seem to be "supernatural". Sightings of ghosts...
They aren't "set in their ways", . . . . . they use the scientific method to test a hypothesis. If it pointed to a global flood, the evidence would show that, . . . but it [geology] doesn't. History doesn't support the story either. :crazy

The fact that the scientific community, as a whole, find overwhelming evidence that is completely incongruent with ANY "global flood" should be enough for anyone to see that a global flood myth, such as the story of Noah, is just that. . . . a story, not grounded...

I believe that it is a huge leap of faith to believe that, to be honest. But I realize that it is a main doctrine of the christian faith, so I won't be convincing anyone.
You are talking about men who had a fear of the unknown [those who wrote the religious texts that were canonized]. . . . and I am convinced that none of them ever met any deity to even KNOW if one would "pee their pants". It is an unknown at best. . . . at worst, why would you want to be around...

Why would a creator make him/herself completely unfindable? I don't know how it all happened, . . . but I trust the work of those who have spent years and years in a specific field to know what they're doing when they test a hypothesis and the results are repeatable. What they have discovered...
Read up on cosmology/big bang and you'll see that the theories have nothing to do with "starting from nothing". At least, that's what is said by those who believe in the big bang and abiogenesis....

I understand your point, but there is no evidence supporting a creator either. As for "historical evidence refuting the existence of faeries [not "the tooth fairy", by the way], sprites, etc., it just goes to those who believe them to be fables with no proof, . . . no evidence. There are those...
