That's ok, feel free to share whatever you would like concerning your own beliefs about the mystery, Israel, the olive tree... anything you would like to share.
Here is the scripture for this thread and if you'd prefer a greater context, then Romans 9-11 would be the complete context with respect to the teaching of the Apostle to the Gentiles concerning Israel.
Feel free to share what this portion of scripture is speaking about, specifically the...
I've spoken on Israel on numerous occasions and even started a thread on it.. I S R A E L ...
It's perfectly fine if people don't believe that or see it differently.
In fact, you're obviously free to believe whatever you would like about Israel.
Dispensationalism Darwinism?
Once again, the root (pun intended) of the problem here is simply not following along in the bible with respect to what happened to nation of Israel in the days of The Lord Jesus Christ on earth...
The Apostle Peter preaches to the Israelites on that first...
Once again, I think that it is perfectly normal for a Jew (Israelite) to have the desire to fulfill the Law simply because it's in their tradition of doing exactly that for generation after generation... and IMO it's no different than a Christian in Christ desiring to be obedient in all things...
I am Di VINE and you are de branches...
When we read Romans 11 we should also be reminded about John 15 where we are plainly told that Christ is the VINE and we are the branches...
We also know that Christ is the ROOT and the offspring of David...
Scripture upon scripture...
The...
On another note...
Do people understand that ISRAEL is the only nation on earth that is not considered GENTILE ?
For a description of how the LORD divided the nations... see Genesis 10 with respect to Naoh's sons after the flood..
Could you be more specific... what verse(s) are you speaking of here..
And on a side note.. what tribe are you from if you're an Israelite... ? :-)
And on another side note... there is neither JEW or GENTILE in CHRIST.
Jerusalem.. trodden down of the GENTILES until the TIMES OF THE GENTILES be fulfilled
Not only does the Apostle to the Gentiles warn us about ignoring the mystery pertaining to Israel..
The Lord Himself speaks of Jerusalem being trodden down of the GENTILES until the times of the Gentiles...
This is another thing which many get confused over for some reason...
Christ is the ROOT.. and the offspring of David..
Christ is the commonWEALTH of Israel.. that Christians are blessed with today.
Another thing which many tend to forget is that ISRAEL is presently CUT OFF from the...
Now if you would think before you write :-) you would have remembered that IN CHRIST there is NEITHER Jew or Gentile..
Within the church of God there is NEITHER Jew or Gentile, but one new man from the two... if you would simply read further in Ephesians...
The other thing is the...
Now, can anyone see logically (and scripturally of course) how that according to 1 Cor 10:32 that the church of God can't possibly be Israel ?
Think about it..
Jews, Gentiles, and the church of God...
That's how I see it... and the point is that these three exist today...
IN CHRIST (the church of God) there is neither Jew or Gentile..
OUTSIDE of Christ there is Jew and Gentile..
Re: Freewill religion is the Man of Sin ! - Part 2
Perhaps one of the most difficult questions for some here in CF... :-)
What must I do to be saved ?
a) nothing, I'm the elect along with Christ.
b) believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
EDITED
IMO there is no difference between following Paul or following Christ.
Although that said, there is a massive difference between the earthly entity of Israel which was under the dispensation of the LAW as compared to the church of God which is under His grace..
For the LAW was given by...
How does a born again Christian discern the things which are (present) from the things which shall be (future) hereafter ? Is it simply because they're worded that way, or is there more to it than that ?
How do we know that the Day of the Lord is future rather than present or past ?
Speaking in tongues is certainly not a pre requisite for knowing or understanding things to come... although being born again by the incorruptible word of God which LIVES and ABIDES for ever certainly is.
