I see 4 types of religion in the Bible, 3 of which are condemned, and only one justified by God in Christ Jesus:

1. Faith alone is separated from any works we do at any time on earth. This is New Age kind of religion, where we believe we are divine within, without works ever changing our eternally blessed nature. (Rom 2;13)(John 3:20-21)(James 2:14-17)(1 Peter 2:12)(I john 3:17-19) Etc...

In the rare Christian version, it either includes only the believers naming Christ, or all souls made divine in the end.

2. Law alone is where faith in the law alone justifies the soul. Faith in the Lawgiver is made subservient works of the law. And the lawgiver is often that of man who continually add to the points of law, in order to produce more and more righteousness in life. (Mark 7:7-9)(Rom 1:17)(Rom 9:32)(Titus 3:5)(Titus 1:14)

There is the radical Jewish, Christian, and Islamic version of religion. It is the opposite of faith alone divinity apart from any works.

3. Lukewarm is initially separated from any works, but then is judged by progressively produced good works, with less sinful works. (Ezek 18:30-31)(Acts 17:30)(Rev 3:15-19) Etc...

This is the majority of the religious on earth. The faith, and therefore the soul, is justified is by doing more good and less evil than before, from a sincere but still corrupted old heart of lust.

The faith's saving 'efficacy' is at some point in life judged by works. The faith's saving 'efficacy' is at some point in life judged by works. It does produce better religion on earth than the other two, and can be called the better homes and gardens variety of niehgborly conscientious sinners.

4. Pure religion of Jesus Christ, is whole salvation and sanctification from all sinful works, with the soul justified by only doing the good and righteous works of God, through the whole hearted pure faith of Jesus. (Rom 2:13)(James 1:23-25)(James 2:21-24)(1 Peter 1:13-16)(1 John 3:7-10)(3 John 11) Etc...

This is the religion of the few on earth, who repent of all sinning for Jesus' sake, which is separated from the many religious on earth, that either repent not from any old sinning, or only repenting gradually and incompletely.

The radicalized law-aloners, have corrupted their faith toward God, by seeking obedience to a law of man's own will, and not the only law of Christ by Scripture.

Do these people ever sin after repenting or are they perfectly sinless?

We are saved by grace through faith.

Faith must have the action or “work” of obedience, otherwise faith all by itself is dead.

The way a person is born again is to obey the Gospel.

Is this something that you would care to discuss further?

You listed four, what is your opinion of this "fifth"?

In faith one repents of all their sin (Ac. 2:38; 3:19), they are saved by God's grace through genuine faith (Eph. 2:8-10) in Jesus as LORD Master of all they possess and are.

They give all they own including their own life to Jesus( Mt. 10:37-39) confessing publicly He is LORD (Mt. 16:18; Rom. 10:8-13) the Only Begotten Son of God the Father (Mt. 16:18-19; John 20:31), whose human body was physically raised from the dead and He ascended into heaven---all authority in heaven and earth being made subject to Him (Mt. 28:18; 1 Pet. 3:18-22);

When this is believed (cp. Acts 19:2), publicly confessed the believer is born again (John 3:3-7), God the Holy Spirit regenerates his soul so it becomes a new creature all things new (2 Cor. 5:17-18; Rom. 6:4), partaker of divine nature (2 Pet. 1:4) having passed from death into eternal life (John 5:24).

In the NT, when a Jew was baptized in Christ it was a "public confession they sold all they owned, and believed Jesus is the Christ the Son of God", hence "belief" and "baptism" are synonymous in Mark 16:16. Baptism is how the early apostolic church made their public confession.

Is this "fifth" in your list, or did you forget it, or do you disagree with it?

Good question!
If their repentance from sin was true, they will remain sinless.
It is written...
“Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.For he that is dead is freed from sin.” (Rom. 6:6-7)
"Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness." (Rom 6:18)
"But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life." (Rom 6:22)

While it is true that the spirit of the one who is joined to the Lord is truly righteous and holy, his spirit resides in an earthen vessel which has not been fixed yet. It is apparent that the question was meant to draw out this distinction.

That "earthen vessel" has been reborn of God's seed.
It cannot bring forth evil fruit.
Besides, even the unbeliever's vessel cannot commit sin.
It is the mind that initiates sin.
