Welcome to the forums! A gay person who is living the full life of a gay person cannot be a Christian. A person who struggles with same sex attraction but doesn't live the life of a gay person can be a sin.

The Bible says that homosexual acts and thoughts are sin. The gospel shows us that God can save such a person and redeem them. The gospel calls people to repent of (to turn from) their sin and turn to Jesus, and that means a Christian must not live a gay lifestyle, or live in any other sexual sin for that matter.
