On my way to work I travel by a river where each year a pair of eagles nest. I finally was able to get a fairly decent picture of them.

I wish I didn't have the power line in the way, but there was no getting around that, nor the limitations of my useful, but not really top-notch camera.
Anyway, I do love the eagles. Not too much longer now and well see the eaglet. The three will hang around until summer whilst baby grows then disappear, but these two should be back next year.
This is further south from where we live, but we have seen eagles many times right here at home. I have no idea if they are the same eagles or not. We live quite a bit higher in elevation than where this picture is taken.
