Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Shalom from Chandigarh Punjab North India
It’s been while we could not send any sort information of what is going on in our church in North India .
Of course all of your prayers the Lord is wonderfully leading His people with His goodness and mercy. HOW GREAT GOD WE HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMEN!!!!!!!!!
HALLELUJAH! As we started this year the Lord spoke to us
Joel 3:16 The Lord will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem ; the earth and the sky will tremble. But the Lord will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel
How true it is!!!!!!!!!! God is our refuge and strength all the time.
Praise God!!!!
About Church growth:
Our church is growing more and more because His Spirit is moving mighty way in the pagan countries like India . As persecution increases so the growth takes place rapidly. We are sure some day our country would be the first Christian Country which can bring more morals and real spiritual way of living and loving and giving. About 8 people been baptized from Hindu and Sikh religions Praise God we will be sending pictures separate email since here we are not able to attach because of less KB availability. Day after day our church sitting accommodation is become very congested.
The church is belongs to Him we believe that He would expand it as the church grows.
Day Care Center:
It is absolutely faith ministry which is not depends on any funds but the Lord is our source and He provides food and poor children those are coming to day care home by little contribution here and there. There are three paid workers in the home. The reason to keep this day care center the main principal intention to reach out the pagan children and their parents and provide the shelter and little education for roaming(street)uneducated, uncared and some dropped from school children and shelter and provide employment for believers of the church.
VBS:
This was conducted this for 8 day according to our plan we suppose to conduct 10 days one or other reason we could not make it. About 250 children were participated and one day there was public rally with banner of saying Stop the Child labor, Abortion is a crime, each one teach one, drags will destroy your life,Jesus is a prince of peace , Jesus is the way of life, come to Jesus he will give you complete rest,& plant the trees and save earth" The public response was good to see holistic slogans
At the end of programme there were many prizes and medals given as token of love and appreciation and encouragement to participate the next vbs as well as sunday school which is regular programe of the church.
Our vision: India 28 states and 7 Union territory and the percentage of Christianity about with approximately 24 million followers, constituting 2.3% of India 's population out of 1.15 billion. As of 2010, more than 37% of India’s population of 1.35 billion still lives below the poverty line.The Indian family unit is often large, which can amplify the effects of poverty. Also, the caste system still prevails in India, and this is a major reason for rural poverty - people from the lower casts are often deprived of the most basic facilities and opportunities.
We wish to plant the church each state at least one church in one state must be that also in the remote area of the each state.
Therefore we would like to extend invitation to those are having similar vision and passion for souls of India Mainly for unreached pioneer areas.
Here we would like to let you know the needs of the church and mission work in India for your prayers.
1. Maloya Church Building : It is still incomplete of roofing. Because of this the water penetrates into the wall and damages entire building.
2. Regular support for Day care home children
3. Needs of musical instruments
4. Hindi and Punjabi tracts and bibles
5.Govt is trying to demolish the church building as they sent notice to us but the grace of God we solved this problem temporarily.
6. Pray for new believers to grow in spiritually and to stand firm against their relative fight for getting them back to Hinduism
7. Pray for our 3 pastors and 2 elders of the church
