“Faith Alone” is a false doctrine!
It depends on what you (or "they") mean by "faith alone." The term "faith" is misused by many, and was from the beginning, this is the reason why James wrote ch. 2 of his epistle. The faith that Paul was talking about in Rom. 5 (justified by faith and not by works) is a faith that includes repentance and following Jesus. In Rom. 3:8 Paul declared that those who claimed he was preaching "let us do evil that good may come" are condemned, because they don't understand the gospel of grace which Paul preached. It means that people who think just because they claimed to believe are saved from God's wrath, are self-deceived.

When Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 12:3 "no one can say, 'Jesus is Lord,' except by the Holy Spirit" he wasn't talking about someone who is just parroting the words. Rom. 10:10 "with the heart one believes unto righteousness" - therefore, Biblical faith is that attitude toward God (disposition of the heart) in which the whole man is involved, in surrender to God, fear of God, believing in Christ, knowledge of one's need for holiness in his life, committed compliance to God's moral will, and life centered around Jesus' command to love others. And all that goes with it, which includes all the teaching of scripture on moral and ethical principles. This is why Jude commands us to contend earnestly for the faith - THE faith, that is, the faith of true Christians. This is the faith that acknowledges God as our helper in all we do and say.

Therefore, "faith alone" is not a false doctrine if you're talking about the right kind of faith. But if your version of "faith" is the same as how the pagan world uses it, then it would be a false idea to you. People like that need a good dose of James. Incidentally, in the context of scripture, being justified by faith is the beginning of the Christian life, not the place where we park ourselves. Jesus spoke of the Christian life as a path - the narrow way.

“Faith Alone” is a false doctrine!

As I've shown in past threads where you've info-dumped, the verses you cite don't actually make your case for you. Read in context, many of your proof-texts actually deny your "baptism saves" doctrine. Your question, then, would be better put: How many verse properly understood in their immediate context and in the larger context of the entire word of God are required to refute a false doctrine? To this question I can reply, "Not many."

Why do you say this?

Doesn't the Bible tell us to use Scripture to refute and correct error (false doctrine)?
How can you prove something that is false to begin with ?
It would be like proving there are flying saucers !
On the other hand, if one wants DISprove something, LOVE is the final proof.

Baptism is only the beginning of salvation

Nowhere does it say faith alone saves? 1 cor 13:2 even all faith without charity avails nothing
1 cor 13:13 faith alone? Nope

The apostolic church has the two edged sword the one side to teach all truth, the other to condemn all errors!

Well, proving anything to somebody that's unwilling to be reasonable is impossible. Yes, agreed. Especially attempting that over the internet.

BUT proving Biblical doctrine to be accurate according to the Bible is largely what the Bible is all about. There are many, many verses in the NT that address that effort directly. God wrote the Bible as an ageless foundation of wisdom and Truth knowing that the enemy would continuously work to bury and alter Truth until the end of time.

The Bible is the last legitimate source of Truth in all the world.

Then why did Christ establish the church? Matt 16:18-19 to teach and sanctify all men unto eternal salvation! Matt 28:19 Jn 20:21-23

Sorry, I don't know exactly what part of my post you're contesting.

And how is that part contradicted by your response?

Just clarifying. Thanks.

Yes, The Church By Christ Jesus (Eph 3:21) has the Holy Spirit.
But that seems a tad distant from proving a false doctrine.
Does the apostolic church have authority from Christ to teach all nations?
