The purpose of this forum to allow questions and discussions about doctrines, practices and disciplines that are particular to Messianic Judaism and the larger community related to Judaism, and engage in discussion even if we end up having to agree to disagree. Understand that Messianic Judaism is a big tent category, there are many different teachings and understandings of concepts, traditions, and customs that fall under the umbrella of "Messianic Judaism".

Messianic Judaism is a sect of Judaism, but as Messianics we believe that Yeshua is the promised Messiah/Messiach. We believe that he died, was buried and rose again on the third day. We also believe that he kept Torah perfectly, ministers at the Heavenly Temple, and will return to reign from Jerusalem.

Bear in mind that there is much misinformation and errors propagated around the internet about Messianic Judaism and Judaism in general. What you think you know may not be correct or apply to all followers of Messianic Judaism .

As followers of the Messianic stream of Judaism we believe in the full cannon of scripture, both the Tanakh (Old Testament or Jewish Scriptures) and the brit hachadasha (New Testament). Material found outside of the scriptures such as the Talmud, Mishna, etc. are edifying and can be used to assist in studying scripture and practices, but are not equal to scripture.

Keep the discussion focused on the topic and avoid personal attacks.

Please note the following from the TOS for this site:
Our aim is to speak freely about theology and biblical concepts and the understanding of scripture but in an atmosphere of mutual respect and love for our brothers and sisters in Christ
