Lets look at a few verses that deal with growing in Grace as = how to effectively "work out your salvation">

1.)""" leaving the first principles""". Hebrews 6

Reader....The bible is a progressive reveal.
Its God revealing Himself, and its God's showing you how He deals with mankind from beginning to the final revelation.
The Bible reveals this, progressively. Some have classified this as "seasons" or "dispensations", but, its really just the calendar of time, revealing Alpha to Omega, whereby God is showing you what has happened, what is happening right now, and will is to come later, as the revelation of His dealing with man.

And just like you find the beginning of it all , you then find the process of bible revelation changing, and continuing to change.
For example, when Adam and Eve were here, you has no "law of Moses". And after Christ was Crucified, you had a transition from the OT old covenant to the NEW Testament, New Covenant. So, see that CHANGE? That is the progressive revelation that the Bible is showing you.
Currently you are in the "time of the Gentile", and this will end and the Great Tribulation will start. So, see that upcoming change being revealed in the NT? That is the Bible showing you what God is doing next, and next, and next.. That is progressive revelation. That is the Bible.

The believer is also to change. "from Glory to Glory". From spiritual baby to mature believer.
We are to grow in Grace. We are to start as babes in Christ and mature to the : "fullness of the stature of Christ.
We are to leave the beginning stages, that Paul defines as :

""""Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works""

Now, see that ?

1.) "principles of the doctrine of Christ"
2.) "repentance from dead works"?

This means we are to become grounded, centered, in God's Grace, Hebrews 13:9 ....and from this foundation, move on to more revelation and deeper Spirituality. But you have to start there, or you can't ever move on. And if you have not started there, then you are still in the beginning immature stage of "repenting from dead works'... This is sinning and confessing. As this is the baby stage of Christianity, that is not "perfection", which is the mature spiritual stage of discipleship.

2.) """"Dead to the law""""

The Born again, are alive to God, "In Christ" and "dead to the law".
This means that the law, which IS a curse to us, has been resolved by Christ who has "redeemed us from the Curse of THE LAW".
So by being delivered from the "dominion of the law", we are now no longer judged or defined by the Law, which is the "curse".
We now exist here...."under Grace". This has become our spiritual dominion, as we are "dead to the law", or as Paul teachers... "reckon yourselves DEAD".... See, our old man, our adamic nature our sinful nature, has been "crucified with Christ" and we are risen with Christ in "newness of Life". The born again are "dead to the Law".
This "newness of LIFE" is our "new Creation" "in Christ" that is who we have become by being BORN AGAIN.
We are now become "ONE WITH GOD< IN Christ".
This is now who we are...and never again are we to think of ourselves as a "sinner". We are now become...."as Christ IS, so are the born again, IN THIS WORLD". This is why God tells you to "be in the world but not of it".... And that means how you understand who you have become, as the "new birth", a Child of the Light, BORN AGAIN.
If someone tells you that you are a "sinner" then you tell them what God says you are. He said you are :

1. New Creation in Christ
2. Possessing Eternal Life
3. A Saint
4. And Heir of God
5. A Joint Heir with Jesus
6. A Son of God or as i teach if you are a woman.... A Daughter of Christ
7. IN the Kingdom of God
8. Brethren
9. Bride of Christ
10. Born again

3.) Harlot

IN Luke 7, you find the core principle of God's Grace which is defined by a Harlot's NEW behavior, who came to Jesus and poured out her utter thankfulness on the Savior, in public.
The principle here is...."to whom much is forgiven".
So, let me show you how this works....
There is a doctrine that has deceived many believers which exists as the idea that ..if you understand and believe (Blood Atonement) = that all your sin is always forgiven based on the Blood of Jesus being shed for you, then you will live like the devil.
And that is the devil's lie. And he created this lie and perpetuates this lie using people, because as long as you believe it, you will never have the revelation of God's Grace that is your power, your rest, and your total deliverance that leads to your "perfection" which is to become "the fullness of the Stature of Christ" on this earth.
See....
Satan wants to keep you away from this, so that you exist as working to achieve what God only provides as the "GIFT of salvation".

Now notice the former Harlot in Luke 7.
Jesus said she was forgiven much. And do you see her reaction? This is a former whore.... A devout sinner, judged to be so, by THE LAW and COMMANDMENTS. However, Jesus has not judged her. He has only accepted her and loved her and her reaction to God's GRACE is to fall at God's feet and cry tears on his feet and wash them with her hair.
Now, see that REACTION to GOD's GRACE?
That is Her reaction to God's Grace, = it is the pure reaction of every heart and mind and life, that you too will also, when you completely understand and come to the revelation that God always keeps you "made righteous".. based on the BLOOD OF GOD, only.

This is the wonder of the effect of Grace. As it empowers you to live HOLY. This is the fact that "the goodness of God, leads you to repentance". Its a fact reader, that when you renew your mind into the real faith that is only found when you leave your self effort to try to be accepted by God, and REST in the truth that is the power of God's Grace, that you then find your renewed mind as this...= "Christ always gives me the Victory".
See, when you come to truly believe that God will always keep you "made righteous" with Christ's blood, then you are entering the TRUE knowledge of real faith that will set you free.

The truth is, the more you believe that you have to work (law and commandments) and strive to please God, the more you will sin and confess and fail.. Whereas, the more you come to understand the depth's of God's COMPLETED forgiveness for you on THE Cross, the more power you find as this : '"Christ always gives me the Victory".

4.) The Effect of the knowledge of Grace : Deliverance & Holy Living

The end result that comes only from knowing and understanding and resting in God's Grace, (Real Faith) is that you are arming yourself with the Power of Christ, which is God's Grace, which is the ARMOR of GOD you are to put on.
Christ said "apart from me, you can do nothing"... and that means, all your effort to be a "good christian" will fail. The reason? Its because Real Christianity is not based on you trying to be good, but rather is based on God's goodness existing as "Christ in you the hope of Glory"< as who you are become as : "the righteousness of God, in Christ". "Made Righteous".

Here is the thing... A born again person, STARTS, as...>"Made Righteous".
See that?
The born again are not to try to become righteous, as we are already made by NEW BIRTH< to be Righteous. We START there. That is who we are made to be, as the "new Creation" from the very instant we are born again, because we been given "the gift of righteousness".
Most believers are trying to get there by self effort, (law and commandments) and that is to be Faith failed as : "apart from me you can do nothing"...Jesus tells us.
So, the rule of Righteousness is..> 1.) to come to understand who you are become "in Christ", by being Born Again, and live in this renewed mind of real Faith.
This means you rest in the knowledge of the Truth that you are "made righteousness", and kept righteous by the BLOOD OF GOD for eternity.......as that REAL FAITH= is how you find your power, victory, and deliverance., as this..."Christ always gives me the Victory".
Its all found by resting completely in God's Grace as your REAL FAITH.

Salvation means to be whole mind, body and soul as we surrender our will to God and allow his will to work in our lives by applying Gods word to every aspect of our lives. This allows us to know the mind of Christ and all the promises of God for our own well being so we can face anything that tries to come against us while here on this earth so we can triumph and be victorious through the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Grace pardons us and mercy loves us unconditionally. Let’s start with the conversation of Jesus and Nicodemus to get a better understanding of what it is to be born again and how to shed this old sin nature through repentance and then we will move on to learn how grace and mercy works in our lives. (John 3:1-7)

Jesus was teaching Nicodemus that it was a Spiritual rebirth or renewal of our spirit that through Gods spoken word we can reconcile our past sins through repentance to be made sinless again before God. We are all born with a sin nature because of sin being introduced into the world through Satan’s deceit when he told Eve it was alright to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil even though God forbid them to eat of it. Our flesh will always sin because the flesh is never in obedience to God. (John 9:31; Romans 8:6-8)

Sin separates us from God because God is a spirit and can only recognize his own children by what spirit is living in their hearts. We have to renew, rebirth - born again, Gods Spirit within us in order to be called a child of God and see the kingdom of heaven. We now put off the old man (flesh) and put on the new man (Spirit). We are renewed by the word of God and through the Holy Spirit teaching us of all things. (John 14:26; Colossians 3:1-17)

We now have an intercessor (Jesus) who sits at the right hand of the Father and hears our confession that we are sinners and need his salvation as we believe in our heart that he was truly sent from God as the living word that we can indeed become righteous again not of our own righteousness, but that righteousness that is God whom through his Spirit is promised to dwell in us. All we have to do is believe and confess that we are sinners and allow Gods righteousness to cleanse us and renew our spirit man. Jesus wants us to come as we are and allow him to make the changes that need made in our hearts. People want to clean the fish before they catch them, but Jesus says come as you are I will clean you from the inside out. (John 10:9; 1:14; 14:6; Romans 10:9-10)

It is not by our works or good deeds that save us for if that was all it would take then Gods word would be made void in our lives and Jesus would have died in vain, but because we are all sinners, it is by Gods grace and mercy that forgives our sins and washes us clean by the atoning blood of the Lamb (Jesus) so we can be made renewed again and free from our old sin nature. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7)

it is by Gods grace and mercy that forgives our sins and washes us clean by the atoning blood of the Lamb (Jesus) so we can be made renewed again and free from our old sin nature. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7)

Let me show you something interesting.
You wrote, that "so we can be made free from our old sin nature".

Yet, Paul said that our old man is "crucified with Christ" already and to "reckon it dead"

So.... have you ever met a person on a forum, including mods, members, pastors.....OR.....have you ever met a church member, including a pope, bishop, deacon, who is not "sinning and confessing", and telling you that so will you?
Well, did you believe them?
Did you believe their lie? As your faith is what you believe, and what you believe is what you will have as your life.

= "So as a man thinketh" = what you will become.
So, if you are taught by deceivers that you are going to "sin and confess", and you believe it.....then you will do it, according to your faith.

However, Paul says this....>"as many as be perfect"......>"the fullness of the stature of Christ", and "Christ always gives me the Victory".
See those?
That is "real Christianity", vs the "lord here i am again, to confess the same old sin" for 5-50 yrs.

So, why is it that Christians talk about "we can be made free from sin" yet, they are sinning and confessing their entire Christian life?

A.) Its because they are not in Real Faith.

Real faith produces this...>"Christ ALWAYS gives me the Victory.

Notice the word "always"..???? That is what Real Faith produces. So, if your faith is not right, then your Christianity is this....>"sinning and confessing" and running to 1 John 1:9, instead of existing in 1 John 3:9

We are all born with a sin nature and not imputed with Adam's sin as scripture does not support this. All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, that's a fact. But, to those who are of Christ need to get up every morning and crucify this flesh and walk in the Spirit so we do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. No one has to sin like it's some kind of command to do so as it's a freewill choice to fall to the temptation to sin.

Even a Spiritually born again child of God will mess up at times as we are still mortal living in this fleshly body where the sin nature dwells. Grace does not give us a license to sin, but when we do we have an intercessor (Christ Jesus) before the Father who makes intercession for us and forgives our sin when we repent of them. There will always be a struggle between the flesh and the Spirit and sometimes the flesh will win the battle, but never the war as flesh and Spirit can not mix.

Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

But, if we willfully sin then there is no more sacrifice for sins we commit as it will bring with it consequences brought upon our self.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Bethel even the greatest of faith fall short at times as even the Prophets and Apostles struggled with sin.

Genesis 9:20-21 Noah became drunk on the wine he made from the vineyard and exposed his nakedness

Genesis 12:10-20 Abraham lied about Sarah being his wife as he traded her for his own life as He was weak in the flesh even after the promises God gave him

Genesis 26:1-10 Isaac repeated the same sin of Abraham as he lied about Rebekah as he was also weak in the flesh as he feared for his own life even after the promises God gave him.

Numbers 20:1-12 Moses sinned against God in a moment of anger and a lapse of judgement that led him to not be able to bring the congregation into the land which God gave to all of them.

1 Kings 16:31; 21:25-26 Elijah became depressed and suicidal in a moment of human weakness when dealing with King Ahab and Jezebel as they did everything in their power to come threaten Elijah.

Genesis 25:19-34; 27:1-41 Jacob tricked his brother into giving him the birthright of the

1 Kings 11 Solomon turned away from God knowing God's commands, but ending up disobeying them

2 Samuel chapters 11, 12, 24 David called for a census, commits adultery with Bathsheba and has her husband killed.

Romans 7:13-25 Paul's struggle with sin in the flesh after his conversation.

Paul opposes Peter in Galatians 2:11-14 for not walking uprightly according to the truth of the Gospel.

Their sins were forgiven as they were still considered righteous and faithful after repenting of their sin of disobedience as all of us are who are in the Lord.

Bethel even the greatest of faith fall short at times as even the Prophets and Apostles struggled with sin.

"Christ always gives me the Victory".

That's not a myth.

So, the "struggle" against sin, is why you sin and confess, as when you struggle against sin, you exit here. "Apart from me, you can do nothing".
See that "nothing"? ? That is the reality for any believer who is "struggling against sin"., as this "struggle" is why you keep sinning.

But, if we willfully sin then there is no more sacrifice for sins we commit as it will bring with it consequences brought upon our self.

Im sure you didn't mean to imply that all the sins you have committed and confessed since you were saved, were "accidents'.
So, that means that most of them, were "willful".

Bethel even the greatest of faith fall short at times as even the Prophets and Apostles struggled with sin.

Its not required of a believer that they become one of the 'greatest" to stop sinning.
All that is required is to understand what causes it, and then stop doing that.

Sin, is a "cause and effect", in the life of a believer, and to stop the cause, is to end the effect.

Just trying to show you none of us are perfect, but being perfected daily. Read 1 Corinthians 15:42-58.

This is talking about the physical body that is "dead because of sin" being replaced by the Resurrection body.
That is "corruption", putting on "incorruption"
This is the "dead being raised incorruptible".

The born again are not in the grave. We are either alive and waiting to die, or we are in Heaven, having died, yet not yet with our resurrected body.
We get that "in the twinkling of an eye" when we are "changed".
Our born again spirit is already "The righteousness of God in Christ".

Paul said....>"absent from the body, present with the Lord"....... Philippians 1:23....>"i desire to DEPART (to die) as it is far better to be with the Lord".
Paul went happily to the chopping block because when that axe cut his head off, He was instantly with Jesus.

If a born again dies today, their body stays here, but their born again Spirit, goes to God as it already exists as "One with God, in Christ".

If you are not born again and you die, then your body stays here, and your spirit goes directly to hell.
