Due to the trinity teaching, it is believe by majority of churches that Jesus Christ is not the literal begotten Son of God, but instead an equal, co-eternal God alongside the Father, and never had a beginning. Some people astonishingly, even believe that the Jesus and the Father are the same being. This is all thanks to the confusing trinity teaching. The trinity teaching says that Jesus had no beginning and the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three co-equal, co-eternal beings that are just playing a 'family role'. In other words, they are just play acting these roles of Father and Son. Because you are either a literal Father and Son, or you are just playing the roles.

So according to the churches today who have embraced Rome's Trinity god, Jesus as the 'Son of God' is only a 'SYMBOLIC' application and He is not the literal Son of the Father. But this causes a major problem concerning the Authority and TRUTH of God's Word. You see Jesus once said ..."I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life"(John 14:6). James 1:17 says that in the Father, there is "no variableness" and no shadow of turning". And Isaiah 65:16 says that God is a "GOD of TRUTH". This means that whatever the Father and His Son declare - IT IS TRUTH!! --NOT 'symbolic' or 'role playing', but TRUTH.

God the Father said TWICE, concerning Jesus... "THIS IS MY BELOVED SON" (Matthew 3:17, Matthew 17:5)

Jesus Himself confirmed ... "I am THE SON OF GOD" (John 10:36, John 11:14).

And the apostle John confirmed in John 17:17 ..."THY WORD IS TRUTH ". And Jesus said ththe are to live by "EVERY WORD that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).

Do you know what this means friends? This means that God the Father IS the the Father of Jesus Christ. And that Jesus Christ IS the literal Son of God the Father. You see, they are both OF the truth and of righteousness (Psalm 89:14). So they CANNOT be "role playing", as role playing is NOT truth. God the Father and His Son Jesus cannot be anything other than what they have both declared, because they are the TRUTH.

Those who do not believe the testimony of Father call God a LIAR. (1John 5:9-10.
This truth of the Father and His Son is the FOUNDATION of the true church, just as Jesus confirmed to the disciples.

Matthew 16:15-18
Satan even knew the truth that Jesus is the Son of God, because it was on this point where Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness. Matthew 4:3, 6.
And even the demons (fallen angels) knew very well that Jesus was the Son of God when they cried out to Him in Matthew 8:29. So why can't we believe that Jesus Christ is in fact the Don of God?
We are "compassed about with a cloud of witnesses" concerning the Son of God, LOOK:
GOD THE FATHER-"THIS IS MY BELOVED SON." (Matthew 3:17)
JESUS CHRIST - "I AM THE SON OF GOD". (John 10:36)
SATAN - " If thou be THE SON OF GOD, command that these stones be made bread."
THE FALLEN ANGELS - "What have we to do with thee, JESUS THOU SON OF GOD? art thou comes hither to torment us before the time?" (Matthew 8:29)
NEBUCHADNEZZAR -"Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like THE SON OF GOD."
THE DESCIPLES - " Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, OF A TRUTH THOU ART THE SON OF GOD."(Matthew 14:33) - "we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD." (John 6:69)
This is part one.

The son in law of God?
Don't Catholics believe that Mary is the daughter of God?

When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Matthew 3:16-17

  • Jesus came up immediately from the water;

  • the Spirit of God descending like a dove

  • And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

These three are the Godhead.

IS JESUS THE LITERAL SON OF GOD?

God acknowledges Jesus as His Son:

Matthew 17:5 Still of-Him speaking, behold! a luminous cloud over-shadows them and behold! a Voice out of the cloud saying "this is the Son of Me, the Beloved One, in Whom I delight, be ye hearing Him!".

1Jo 5:20 and we have known that the Son of God is come, and hath given us a mind, that we may know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ; this one is the true God and the life age-during!

Jesus proclaims Himself Son of God in Revelation:

Rev 2:18 'And to the Messenger of the assembly in Thyatira write!
These things saith the Son of God, Who is having His eyes as a flame of fire, and His feet like to fine brass;

The church in Thyatira
has a longer message delivered to it from Jesus Christ than any of the seven churches, although it is interesting to note that the church there is the smallest of the seven, and the city of Thyatira is the smallest of the seven cities..

Thyatira means “sweet perfume of sacrifice” and when you study this word it speaks of a perfume that sends forth its fragrance as the result of bruising, crushing, or breaking. As we study the message to the church in Thyatira we see that the primary emphasis is upon the Jezebel spirit in that church and the “great tribulation” into which the Lord will cast her in order to judge, break, and purify her..............................

I don't think He's speaking of the incarnation but is trying to state Jesus has always been the Son.
"The literal Son of the Father"

I believe that God is the Father who is by nature masculine. The Holy Spirit is co-equal to God, and is the feminine aspect of God. Jesus is the son which was part human (Mary) and part Spirit. He is the son of God. The Bible says he sits at the right hand of God so he must be separate. But then I have a wild imagination

It's actually pretty clear in John 8:42.

Jesus then said to them, 'If God were your father, ye were loving me, for I came forth from God, and am come; for neither have I come of myself, but He sent me; (Jn. 8:42 YLT)

In this passage Jesus literally said that He came out of God. Thus, He is the Son of God.

Why can't people admit on the site that only God knows the answer to all this. There are so many opinions because we're just speculating. We won't know until we get to heaven. I never understand why so many people argue about what the Bible says and what the Bible means. And everybody wants to be right. You're all guessing. I don't care what the scripture says only God knows the truth. As he said to Job, it's over our head. If he told us about the true nature of God we wouldn't understand. Even a physics Professor can't understand God. And I know I'm right about this. LOL

This is where I disagree with everybody. I know people get upset when I say this but the scriptures cannot be proven correct. I like the scriptures. I study the scriptures. Sometimes I quote the scriptures. But we do not know if they come from God or are just from the memories of the people who wrote them. It is been well documented that people's memories are not perfect.

Some of the people that wrote the Bible wrote different stories that contradict each other. How do we know which person is right until we get to heaven This is just my opinion and I understand that it is not the opinion of everyone else. This is just how I feel. And I don't have to be right about this either. I could be wrong. It just does not make sense to me that we could know definitively until we go to heaven.

I guess this is where I have to evolve. I have faith in God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit but not in the scripture. So I will pray that God reveal to me which part of the scriptures are true and which part are just memories of the writers. Don't get me started about the Old Testament. I know God did not condone Lot sleeping with his daughters.

There's one part of the Bible that I know is real and true. And that is the conversation that Jesus had with Nicodemus about the Holy Spirit. And also the Commandment to love God and our neighbor.

There are no contradictions. But, why would you think people go to Heaven? You say you have faith in God and Jesus. How do you know they exist? If you don't believe the Scriptures why do you believe what they say about God? I don't see how your beliefs are logical. You claim you trust in God but don't believe the book that tells you God exists.

You misunderstand me. I believe most of the Bible. I believe in the parts that talk about love. I believe what Jesus told Nicodemus was true. But I do not believe that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. I do not believe that homosexuals are condemned to hell. I do not believe that men always have to be the head of household. I do not believe that I have to wear a veil. I do not believe that women should be silent. So the truth is I don't know if I'm a Christian or not. And I don't care anymore. I just know I love God and God loves me. Christianity is too complicated and too hard. I have mental illness and I need to keep it simple. God is real l. Jesus died for my sins and was resurrected. Mary saw him at the tomb alive or, if you prefer three women saw him. And the Holy Spirit is how we communicate with God. Take care. Thy will be done. I believe that part too. Christ's time in the garden of the Gethsemene really touches me

So, you pick the parts you want to believe? Christianity isn't complicated. It's all of the wrong teachings that people believe that confuse them. Christianity is pretty simple if one just believes what the Scriptures say.

This is my dilemma. You seem to be telling me that it's All or Nothing. I have to believe every word of the Bible or I'm missing the point. I am a writer and what we have is a closing sentence what they call a summary. Sometimes that's all that people can absorb. The Bible is summed up by the Great Commandment to love God and love others as yourself. I'm not an intellectual. I can't absorb the entire Bible when it talks about Lot sleeping with his daughters and having babies. I just can't accept the homophobia that comes out of people reading the Bibles. So if I can't pick and choose then I guess I have to close my Bible and go back to my prayer and meditation. I have tried so hard to accept the Bible word for word and I just can't do it. But the bottom line, and I learned this the hard way, is I don't have to please anyone but God. He knows my heart. He understands me. He loves me. That's all I care about. So I am very happy that you get so much out of the scriptures. I wish I were you; really. But I'm not. And God loves me anyway.

I think everyone agrees that the Father sent Jesus and Jesus came to do the Fathers will.
There's weightier testimony from Jesus Himself such as the Father is the only true God and His God. And Revelation seems to hold to the testimony Jesus gave that the Father is His God.

I think you need to look at what Paul wrote. Jesus is the firstborn of all things created. (all creation) - The first of Gods works or the beginning of the creation of God.
This also has a point in history and is from the will of another. "the fullness was pleased to dwell in Him" and the only other at that point in history was the Father. The one Jesus calls His God and our God.
So Jesus's spirit would have been formed as the first of Gods works and the fullness was gifted. And the one gifting is defining Jesus's being. In that gifting Jesus is the radiance of Gods glory and the exact representation of Gods being. The exact image of the invisible God. He is all that the Father is. He would also be one with the Father as the fullness of the Deity or Godhead that lives/dwells in Him is the Fathers. All that was created according to the Fathers will and at His command HE created through Jesus. Jesus is before all things except the Father and in Him all things hold together and are sustained. That is the Father's will. The Father is the one who glorifies Jesus.
So simply Jesus is Gods firstborn.
So this question, "Is Jesus God?"
Is answered
He never dies
Yes, He is all that the Father is.
No, He has always been the Son.

He is the manifestation of the "glory" of our great God and savior Jesus. - the radiance of Gods glory

So Jesus was with the Father in the beginning and He is all that the Father is (God in that context) and all things were made through Him.

Now at the appointed time a body was prepared for Him. And the Son who was, (His Spirit), was in the tent of that body and the Father was living in Him. Always and forever they are one.

Jesus on the cross, "Father into your hands I commit My Spirit"

I read that the concept of the Trinity did not come to the Catholic church until centuries after Christ was born. So I think that means people believe different things about the Trinity and whether the Trinity exists. When I don't know something I just use my imagination and follow my heart. I Think Jesus is the son of God and carries his traits, like my daughter carries my traits, but is still a separate entity. But I don't know for sure. I'll ask God when I get to heaven.
