LOL! Neo-fundamentalists claim to to believe the Bible, but they just believe what they want and pretend the Bible agrees with them, just like a liberal.
John doesn't say himself that Antichrist is coming, he is merely referring to an old prophecy that antichrist is coming. "YOU HAVE HEARD that 'antichrist is coming'." (sorry Trolls, John doesn't provide a citation for his quote). And, would you please stop the inane bolding of the word "the" in front of "antichrist". It's really lame to emphasize, let alone base doctrine on, a word in a translation that doesn't appear in the source being translated.
John refers to an old prophecy to point out its fulfillment, "and now there are many antichrists..." "Now" doesn't mean the future, although you might want to check a dictionary about the meaning of now, I could be wrong. LOL!
Also, the Temple was destroyed. There are no more people entering the temple. Obviously. G-O-N-E.
This is the arch of Titus, built shortly after the Roman destruction of Jerusalem, the man who in fact did enter the temple and declare himself to be God. The inscription the arch includes "divotito", Divine Titus, Titus the God.
This engraving is part of the arch. This is an image of the Romans looting the Temple, after Titus declared himself God in the Temple, and even having his men perform animal sacrifices to him while at the Tempe. The emblem of the state of Israel is based on this image of the menorah.
Few enter the narrow gate... And, this forum isn't on the narrow path.
