see ,what i posted ,in,Korean and Japanese arts You Bow to the flag .
by your logic that is worship .
in true old ways the bowing is from ancestor worship rituals .the shrine for o'sensei is a Shinto one that has his face in,a photo surrounded by a bonsai tree and other things and the aikido hombu dojo ,which is that will lay food at the alter ,you bow to that with the flag of Japan by it .
its not common in America but,that is the origin of the bowing to the flag .in,my,older aikido dojo they set up a shrine with a few odd things ,no food left but it has a mini shrine to o sensei and the samurai armor and a tiny cross with a obit to teen studs,t who was killed in a wreck and is missed.
so yes in America I can argue this happens .I know,I have seen my friends my old shihan ,master bow to that thing .one can argue it is as well idolatry .I have no problems seeing that it isn't to some though I get the shrine and why,as I,asked and it was not to be considered a Shinto one.
while that doesn't have jap nor american flag ,it makes my point

since I pledged my mental health and body both of which I will,soon take up,with the va i wanted to know what I may die for .
it begin on a night on about 27 Sept 04.I,was talking to Chris angel then incoming .we looked and heard the alarms and continued to talk .he was at his post ,I,was awaiting my,leave flight .haji,couldnt aim so we ignored the warning.it was then I,began to think I could simply,die in,bed in,this tent and thought well what legacy should I leave?why do I serve?wadmans death had me pondering that months before . in the long term I began to think,only,what I do for God lasts.the white house and the constitution will be crushed by,Jesus .of you,doubt see the vision by,Daniel where the rock from, heaven crushes the gold statue to dust.
I don't regret my service but I,also know ultimately it in the end won't matter to God ,what matters to God is listed in,the bible ,souls saved ,kingdom advanced

There is no difference between a man who stands with his hand over his heart swearing his allegiance to a piece of cloth than there is another bowing before a slab of stone and praying.
Both are forms of the same idolatry.

because you don't ,doesnt negate the fact it happens .
if you,are more offended by the flag being burned ,desacretared then the bible or our faith in the,media then well check your heart .
there was more of a protest over the anthem then when the,NFL mocked Tebow .I'm,not suggesting believers weren't offended by,that but hmm,how many have up,the nfl over that as fast ?
