I'm being sued for a debt I dispute. Normally, the legal process would be impossible. Lawyer fees exceed the debt. With ChatGPT, disputing claims is relatively easy. One must still understand the strategy one will use, but ChatGPT can both explain legalism, detail legal semantics, clear up confusion about the process, and reword the pleading into legalese the courts love.
Justice for the people might actually result.
Perhaps innocent people will no longer have to "confess to lesser crimes they didn't commit" just to avoid the chance of far greater sentences for other crimes they really can't defend themselves against.
Or attorney's won't put in the effort.
That alone with the possibility of everyone having a personal AI physician to diagnose problems, democratizes health care, is a huge societal benefit.
