Broken Arm Healed

Daniel Blakeman - 2/09/11

On Tuesday, February 1, 2011, I was shoveling snow on my back deck. I turned around and fell down my back stairs and landed on my arm, against the stairs. Immediately, I knew I broke my forearm as I could barely lift it up.

I called into the house to my wife and asked her to pray for me, and ask The Lord to manifest healing in my arm. At that point, I received my blessing as a gift from God and rejoiced in my spirit, and purposed by the grace of God to walk in this faith until The Lord manifested this healing, which He has promised to me in His Word that He would do (Mark 11:24; 2 Corinthians 1:20; 1 Peter 2:24; Psalm 103:1-5; Proverbs 4:20-23; etc.).

My wife and I are raising our five children and I work a physical job, so I knew I had an opportunity to walk this trial out and that The Lord would bring this to pass quickly. I finished shoveling and snowblowing my driveway by the hardest, making every effort to use the broken arm as much I could because I asked and received by faith this healing because of his precious grace.

When I came in the house, I took my sweatshirt off and looked at my forearm and we could see the bone popped up under my flesh about 3/4 of an inch, and could actually feel the bone separation by running our fingers over the "bump."

That evening was difficult, however, as I tried to bring a laundry basket downstairs and bathed my one- and two-yearold children, and had to rely heavily on my left arm, as a very sharp pain ran through my right arm every time I attempted to use it, even to pick up something as light as a dinner plate. Nevertheless, I continued by faith to use it, praising and thanking God every time I used it, regardless of the pain that I felt because I had a promise from God, and through encouragement from the saints and strength through their testimonies, I knew I had a reason to rejoice.

Later that evening, I called the BenYsraels and asked them to agree in faith with me regarding this matter, and I also had Brother Frank Thornton and Brother Rob Stanley agree in faith for this healing, along with the brethren. The next day at work, I purposely opted to do the majority of the heavy work and this is when The Lord really blessed me.

My healing had come forth about 50% immediately that morning while doing the shoveling at work and the more I used my arm in faith, the more usage The Lord gave me. By the time the third day had come, I had about 85% usage back, The only thing I had trouble doing at this point was flipping my hand over so my palm was up and picking something up that way.

Well, because I still felt a slight pain when I lifted things like that, I began to pick things up that way more. By the seventh day (Tuesday, February 8th), my healing was completely manifested. I asked The Lord to allow the bruise to remain for a short time so that I could show people what The Lord had done for me, considering that the Lord gave me much grace not to disfigure my face before men to show any sign of pain while walking this trial out, and the Lord honored that request, as I do have a large bruise from the top of my wrist all the way to my elbow. I do trust that The Lord will completely remove this bruise as well.

I praise The Father through my Lord Jesus Christ for this miracle and greatly give thanks to Him for such undeserved grace bestowed upon me. We are a VERY blessed people in the earth and have a great reason to rejoice, especially in our trials, because that is where we overcome the devil and allow God to bring forth the precious fruit of Jesus Christ unto His glory.

"And they overcame him BECAUSE of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death" Revelation 12:11

"For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him is yea. For how many so ever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us." 2 Corinthians 1:19-20

ALL of the praise and glory goes to The Lord for this wonderful testimony; I am truly blessed of God to have been able to endure this trial to see the end of my faith, which God has dealt to every one of us as a gift of grace. Amen.

Here is another thought. Not an healing one.

One Sabbath morning while fully dressed (suit & all) for Bible Study, I went out the back door which has 20 or so stepps going down to feed the birds. The steps did not look icy, but, my feet went out from under me & I went all of the way down.. bump, bump &, bump/pitty bump, to the bottom! (and if Doc hasn't been given the toss again?? he will say that that is my problem, huh?;) whatever?)

So what was the BOTTOM RUNG verdict for this older retired Christian?? Nothing! My suit was not even messed up or dirty. And the next day even I was not even sore.

There was some 'spiritual' thought 'stimulated' though! Thank you My precious Lord for sending us protecting angels! AND some more thoughts!:screwloose 'i' took some sand & sprinkeled it around lightly on all of these steps & then put some quick dry clear seal on them!;) And that was done on a 'workday', huh?

And anything less by me??? would fall in Psalms 19:13's presumption next time around, huh?

I'll chime in :) Yesterday afternoon my husband and I decided to head into a larger town that is an hour and a half from where we live, to get him some dress shirts and some other things. We make this trip about 1-2 time a year. Well, he hasn't had a lot of opportunity to drive on the interstate much, and he only got his license last summer b/c he's from NJ and wasn't taught to drive until he came here and I taught him. Well, he was driving, and as we were merging the person in front of us decided to put on their brakes. Tim decided to get in the other lane to go around him, but didn't see the person in that lane already coming up behind us, and when he realized it he swerved back over and the car went back and forth and we ended up leaving the road completely and flying into the ditch on the side of the road! :o BUT, Praise the LORD that neither of us were hurt (I am 8 months pregnant by the way), and our brand new car that was a gift to us (another testimony to HIS provision) was not even hurt at all. We had to get it towed out of the ditch because the front passenger tire was stuck, but once we were out we were able to drive it home! I know that there were angels protecting us :pray

Praise God for protecting you ! Amen, the gospel provides us with protection, healing, deliverance , supply etc. Everything we need to live .God is the supply to all who will believe Him for it. It takes practice.

The reason I posted this testimony is that it illustrates how somebody walked in the Spirit. He refused to believe the fracture and the pain, he chose to believe the Word rather than his circumstances . God honored that.

I'm wondering, was that a healing of his broken arm, or was it that God gave him the strength to deal with the pain and agony as it was healing naturally. Yeah, I know, I'm being the killjoy. In light of the fact that the healings Jesus performed were all 100% complete and 100% instantaneous, I'm thinking it's more that God gave him strength to persevere through the natural healing process (which is also a miracle in itself!)

I wonder, since he has lingering severe pain, massive bruising, along with that scary sounding bump, if he has had a doctor check this out for him so that he won't end up deformed in some way by it's not being set right? I know God can heal miraculously. I've seen it first hand. But He also gave us doctors to take care of these things too.

Hi, If you read it again, you will see that the healing has been completed by the time of the testimony. The bump is now gone and so is the pain. A broken bone cannot heal like that in one week.

I have a friend who went through the same thing too. He too broke his arm and the Lord healed it within one day. He had x-rays to prove it too, because his work demanded a doctors report. He too just refused to believe the curse and the day after he broke the arm (clean break , right through the bone) he picked up a large tree stump with his broken arm and God healed it instantaneously. But this brother of mine have been walking in faith and in miracles now for more than 30 years.

His little boy of five also broke his arm once. My friend prayed for him and sent him off to play. The next day the boy ran into the kitchen and my friend grabbed him by his hands and lifted him up into the air. The arm was totally healed at that moment.
This man has taught me a lot about faith and how to walk in real miracles. He has been working for the Lord full time for over thirty years, he has never "taken an offering" , never asked for money, he ministers for free, never charges for anything. Has no salary from nobody and yet they have lived in their own house, driven their own cars, do not have any debt , eat and live with nobody but the Lord who provides for them.

When you ask him : "Brother do you need anything?" He just smiles and say:" Brother I never tell my needs to a man, only to my Father"

He is sixty years old now and do not need glasses. The Lord has healed his teeth, his bones, cancer, heart, eyes, diabetes , and many more. They delivered all three their kids at home through prayer and faith alone. Hurricane Katrine only left a few leaves in their garden. God is his friend and Father. This man walk the gospel. He lives in the inheritance of the saints.

Yeah, I think I stand corrected. Last night I misunderstood the part where he said:
By the seventh day (Tuesday, February 8th), my healing was completely manifested. I asked The Lord to allow the bruise to remain for a short time so that I could show people what The Lord had done for me
and was thinking he still had a lot of pain to this day, but was just getting through it. Now looking at it again (with breakfast and coffee in my gullet) I see what you mean. True, it may not have been an instantaneous healing like Jesus performed, but I think you're right that there is no way it could have healed to that point in one week on its own. Although I'm no doctor, even if it was just a small fracture I'm pretty sure it would take a lot longer than that, especially considering he had no medical attention and didn't even give it any rest! And I see that the bruise is still there because he asked God to leave it to prove his testimony, not because his arm wasn't healed yet. If this incident brings glory to God instead of to him (and it sounds like it does, especially considering what you have said about the rest of his life), it sure looks like God is working!

Amen :) In truth I wrote about another brother who lives by faith too. Not the same one. But they know each other ! Both broke their arms, both were healed.

No it's not. Not one of those verses mention repentance, faith and the atoning blood Jesus shed on the Cross for those who are mentioned in John 3:16.

If the physical is what anyone hangs their salvation on, they are not teaching the full gospel. :yes

We have a saying in my country : A person capable of a good understanding, only needs half a word. :) So I take it for granted that Christians do know that the true gospel means that we have been redeemed from the curse. Of course it starts with repentance, faith and the atoning blood of Jesus shed on the cross.

Diabetic's Foot Saved from Amputation

Bob Aicardi

God did a wonderful thing for one of my co-workers. Her name was Deon and she lived at home in New Orleans with her mother and father while recovering from a divorce. Her father was very dear to her and was suffering from severe diabetes. Well, whenever I would call the New Orleans branch, she and I would always get into long discussions about Christ in our lives.

Well, one day she announced she had to take her father to the doctor for a foot amputation. For months, his foot was getting blacker and blacker, due to the lack of blood circulation. The doctors were concerned about gangrene, but had at last made the decision to cut the foot off.

I had an opportunity to talk to Deon and speak faith into her to believe that there was nothing too difficult for God. I told her there was another way and that was to receive God's promise for healing. All God needed was our faith and the understanding that it was all accomplished already at the cross. God is waiting with baited breath for us to believe what His Word says and speak the end from the beginning so He can bless us.

I asked her if her father was a Christian who believed in the healing power of Jesus (a rightful heir). She said he believed and that she would sit down to speak faith into her father and agree in prayer with him and our Bible study group that God had healed his leg at the cross. That night, our assembly prayed and asked God to give them the needed faith to "BELIEVE." We spoke to the mountain of infirmity and commanded it to go.

The following day, she went to the hospital and her dad was in his hospital gown in the room, preparing for the operation. Deon had prayed with her father the night before and that morning. Later that day, I got a fax from Deon that read, "Bob, for the first time in my life I have seen a miracle of God. While waiting in the room with my father at the hospital, the circulation returned to my father’s foot right before my very eyes. The blood flowed in, the skin turned pink and all the dead, black part of the foot became restored. The doctors sent my father home and cancelled the surgery!!!"

Now isn't that just like God?! PRAISE GOD. All the promises are "yea"!

Hearing Restored

Amos Scaggs

I have a praise report. The 1st of January I woke up one morning and for some strange reason I had lost total hearing in my left ear and 70% in the right ear.

I began to fast and pray and claimed my rights as a believer. If you haven’t been there, that is devastating. I stayed away from people and didn’t go anywhere because I couldn’t communicate with them. I was not going to receive this condition as away of life for me. (Mt.11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and men of violence take it by force.)

I got a witness that the healing was mine. It is always good to hear that in our spirit.

Three weeks later I got a vision that my hearing was restored but the manifestation was still not there. (This is Amos' second witness but he still had to fight the good fight of faith to win.)

Today, February 10, my hearing is perfect. Praise the Lord for his mercies and promises to the believers.

Trusting For a New Heart

Bill Wagner

This is my praise report about my 40 days of tribulation. On February 28th, my wife and I went out for breakfast as we usually do on Wednesdays. Afterwards, we went to the mall to buy some new trousers for me. My first indication that something was really wrong was when we were walking up to the store. I felt severe chest pains and had shortness of breath, so I had to stop along the way. I paused to look into a store window to rest so my wife would not know anything was wrong.

Later that night after going to bed, I experienced more excruciating chest pains; and I could not get comfortable. The pain radiated down both my arms and into my hands. I had a burning lump in my throat. I started to get a headache with hot flashes and nausea.

As I tossed and turned in bed, my wife asked if anything was wrong. I was reluctant to tell her because I was concerned that she would call 911. That was the last thing I wanted her to do. Since I was unable to hide my severe pain any longer, I told her what was happening. I told her this was just a test from Father to see if I believed His Word. I declared I was healed at the cross, God was sovereign, and I was in His hands.

The pain was so intense that I couldn't remain in bed, so I went to sit upright in my chair. We prayed and rebuked the pain; and after 20 minutes, the pain lessened. If I would move even a little, the pain would quickly come back and stay for another 15 to 20 minutes. I knew that as severe and intense as the pain was that any moment a vein or blood vessel could rupture, and I would bleed to death.

I checked my blood pressure, and it was 238 over 135. I purposed in my heart I was going to trust God no matter what the cost. Revelation 12:11 came to my mind: “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.†I decided not to check my blood pressure again because it would make me doubt that I was healed.

My wife called my two daughters, Lorena and Corena; and the four of us prayed together to rebuke the pain. My daughter, Corena, picked a scripture by lot for me. This is the scripture Father gave her for me: Daniel 8:27 “Then I, Daniel, was exhausted and sick for days. Then I got up again and carried on the king’s business.â€

For the next three weeks, I could barely move, walk, eat, or drink. I couldn't lie in bed, so I had to sleep in my chair. I could only sleep for ten minutes at a time. I barely slept. Every time the pain intensified, my wife would call my daughters; and we would all pray again. We purposed in our hearts not to call 911. No ambulances, no doctors, no medications. We were not going to trust in man according to Jeremiah 17:5: “Thus says the LORD, Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the LORD." I was clinging to life simply by clinging to the Word of God.

Every time I tried to eat, the pain would intensify. I could only drink a tiny swallow of water at a time. At night, the pain would intensify and radiate into my head causing hot flashes and nausea. One night I threw up; but because I had not been able to eat or drink, I only had dry heaves.

I was dehydrated, and I decided I had to drink more water. That was a big mistake. I left the Sabbath Rest by trying to help Father with my healing. He brought it to my attention very quickly by chastising me with excruciating pain lasting for 12 hours. I couldn't sleep at all that night, not even my usual ten minutes. I stopped worrying about being dehydrated and asked for forgiveness.

My daughter, Corena, asked the Unleavened Bread Bible Study elders to pray for me according to James 5:14-16. “Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed.â€

David Eells said to speak to the blood pressure and command it to go down to normal and accept no contrary thoughts, and believe your prayers and commands have been done. Walk by faith and praise the Lord because healing is yours according to Numbers 21:8: "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard; and it shall come about, that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, he will live.'" I kept my eyes only on the promise that Jesus bore my pain and sickness, and I was already healed.

One day I felt Father had a scripture for me, so I drew it by lot. Acts 4:10 “Let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead - by this name this man stands here before you in good health." That was a huge encouragement for me and my family.

As the days passed, I noticed a pattern to my pain. When my wife was at work, I did not have as much pain. When my wife would come home, the pain would increase. When my daughters were at work, I did not have as much pain. When they would call me or come by, the pain would increase. As I noticed this pattern, they also noticed it. Father was teaching us to enter the Sabbath Rest, to stop praying for healing, and to start thanking Him for my healing that He accomplished at the cross.

Once we started praising Father for my healing, the pain started to leave. My wife and daughters quickly learned to simply thank Father for my healing and then go about their business whenever they saw me in intense pain. Father taught us to not acknowledge pain or symptoms but to thank Him and praise Him no matter what we saw with our physical eyes. He taught us to focus on His promises and not the curse. That was a huge breakthrough.

We also prayed and believed for me to receive a brand new heart. Then Father impressed me to check my pulse. For as long as I can remember, my heart would beat seven times and skip on the eighth beat. I inherited my heart and heartbeat from my earthly father whose heart beats the same way. When I checked my pulse, it no longer missed the eighth beat but was continuous. Eight means new beginning. I inherited my new heart and heartbeat from my heavenly Father. This was proof He gave me a new heart and a new heartbeat.

I missed a lot of workdays, and my job only grants a medical leave of absence with a doctor’s recommendation. I asked Father to help me explain to them why I would not be seeing a doctor. I knew Father was working on my behalf when they said they understood and accepted it. Since I did not go to a doctor, I did not know what was wrong. There may have been more than one problem. I have had high blood pressure in the past. Regardless of what was wrong, I was healed.

I see my trial in three ways: One, for the past two and a half years, I have learned many new things through the Unleavened Bread Bible Study. I knew I would be tested on what I had learned.

Two, I believe I received chastisement from Father because of bad eating habits. Hebrews 13:9 “Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.â€

Three, Father taught me and my family how to walk by faith. This testing has greatly changed us, and we have drawn so much closer to Father. Before I knew about the sovereignty of God, I would have called 911. Today 911 is not an option for us. If we could not get through this test, how will we ever make it through the tribulation?

Even though this trial has been extremely difficult, we now see it as a great blessing. Romans 8:28-29 “We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren.†Trials and tribulations perfect us into becoming sons of God.

We have walked through the valley of the shadow of death, and Father has made us lie down in green pastures, and He has led us to quiet waters. Psalm 138:2 “I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name."

Thanks to all of you at Unleavened Bread Bible Study for your prayers.
