Hi everyone,

I don't want to bash anyone, and I only saw the clip, but I found what I saw disturbing. I want to be fair, and can not make a complete judgement based on so little information, but the clip is disturbing. I would never allow my children to go to any camp without me for one, but certainly not one that looks anything like what I saw in that video.

The woman said those in the Middle East are taking their children to camps and putting weapons in their hands...is this a justification of some sorts for their methods? I don't know, but I found the comparison odd.

I don't understand the purpose of the camp, what is it that they are teaching the children? The Gospel, how to witness, what?

I think if our children see their parents radiating God's love to all, and leaning on Him for all things, and cherishing, and upholding, His Word...isn't this all the training that Scripture tells us to give them? We discipline them, we teach them Scripture, we protect them from sin, and we live our faith out before them in a real relational way...what is the need for hyped teaching in an artitifical environment? And, why is it being compared to terrorist camps? Are satan's methods God's? The salvation of God can not be forced on children by indoctrination, just as it could not be forced on people by war. This is the work of the Spirit, after the Gospel is presented...a push is not genuine.

Honestly, I hope the clip gives us the wrong impression.

As far as children coming to God. I did at a very young age, and I assure you it was real. I know others who have a similar testimony. Granted, I had much growing to do...and still do, but it was easier to follow Christ in obedience as a child, and a great learning time in my life. I am thankful for God's gift of salvation to me, and protection of me, so young, and would never deny the genuine salvation of a child. I think that we all need to be careful not to mislead them into false teaching, and hype, that could weaken their roots, or worse raise them in a way that may lead to apostasies, but never deny their confessions of faith.

The Lord bless all of you.

Well said as always, Lovely. I didn't like how the woman kept yelling "This is WAR!!!!".
