Do you think the end is near or that the end of an age near?
MY COMMENTS: "The end of the age" near, I can understand. When you say "the end is near", are you saying something different?
I'll let you answer that on you own.
When you say "near", just how close do you mean? Five years? Ten years? Twenty years? One hundred years?
Let's look at the "end of the age." "Age" is translated from the Greek word, "aion", which generally means a time period of unknown length, and is used for a man's life, a season, an era, a major division of God's administration, etc. But this is not the question.
I believe the end of the age will be the end of the tribulation, when Christ returns in power and great glory to the earth, to destroy the armies marching against Jerusalem, and to rescue the believing remnant of Israel, and to establish His kingdom.
Since the tribulation is seven years long, and, IMO, we are not in the tribulation now, we have at least those years before the end of the age.
Personally, I can see many years must go by to prepare the nations of the world for a one-world ruler. But, only God can know.
