God’s Coloring Book
Dedicated to Michelle Lynn Courchesne
January 17, 1974 – August 14, 2007
Today is the day as you all know, that we lay Michelle to rest
But this is not our focal point; it’s the love of life she expressed.
As you can see, the pictures portrayed give a better and brighter look,
That her life was more of a canvas used as God’s own Coloring Book.
The brilliant smiles and happy faces show God’s true masterpiece,
As she grew and as she loved, the joy would only increase.
This all began with God’s gift to us of a true Mom and a true Dad
With this He allowed us to see through them the blessings we really had.
Growing up she had 3 brothers and this was all that she could bare.
Through God’s grace, She gained two more as God promised patience not despair
God colored and highlighted the canvas going side to side
Grabbing more crayons He said, “There’s more of this love that I will provide.â€Â
The family she had and friends she cherished are what she would always display,
No time that could pass or distance to measure would ever wash that away.
And then one day the news had came; now she’d really have some fun,
For God was going to bless her with a handsome and loving son.
Through many of life’s circumstances the roads were not all easy
The valleys, the hill, the windy roads at times would make anyone queasy.
But God didn’t skip a beat; He continued to color beautifully,
For not only will she be provided a helper, but also a little boy named Zachary.
Colors were splashed; the picture was drawn, as God stood back and observed,
“This is what I wanted to show; that love and family be preservedâ€Â
So with that, the colors have been shown in her smile, in her heart, in her love
And ready to be with her Heavenly Father and live in Heaven above.
God called to Michelle and said, “It is timefor you to come with me,
I have built you a place so close to my heart and planned for eternityâ€Â.
