Hi all,

My hope for this day is that all believers, while enjoying the day today, will also take time to seriously reflect on all that the Lord has done for us. That on this day, just as Israel honors their release from captivity in Egypt, we honor an even greater work of God. That today is the day that we recognize that God has raised His Son Jesus from the dead. He has given us a sign that He can do exactly what He has promised to do for those who love Him and honor His Son.

Enjoy today. For he has been raised from the dead to everlasting life, just as the rest His children will one day be.

Where else does the object of worship sacrifice themselves so that the worshippers might attain heaven?

Who else would believe that a degrading death, by a dispised nobody from a troublesome province would be so transforming.

Praise God for his amazingly out of this world love for us.
