Hi Everyone: I am new to the forum, and wish to greet all with and in the peace of Jesus Christ the Savior. I have chosen the rather generic title 'Orthodox Christian' as my name here not to distinguish myself from others, but to lift up the intent to worship Christ with the correct glory (ortho=straight, doxa=glory), the glory which He deserves.

I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian, a tradition which some may not be very familiar with. I am always willing to explain what Orthodox Christianity is and is not, so don't hesitate to private message me with any such related questions, should you have them.

It is a pleasure to dialogue and fellowship with my Protestant and Catholic brethren, I'm certain we have much to learn from one another.

Christ is in our midst

Glad to have you here.

I would love to learn more about your church and beliefs. How about starting a thread somewhere (General?) and telling us about it?

Hi Thanks Scott and Dime Ministries- there is a thread started by Archon of Orthodoxy, perhaps we'll get some of our distinctives on the table there...
