When the war has ended and the dust has settled
I stand back and glace to my older brother in trouble
The look of disapointment and rage
covered in dirt and blood and fear on his face
Looking down on mens lost souls
wondering if we achieved our goals
As he looks up and stares me in the eyes
I can see my brother has been hit and
will probably die
I go to his rescue and my tears I can't hide
He begins to speak and his words I can barley hear
sounds like he said don't cry brother be of good cheer
The Lord Jesus has come and has taken my fears
I take my brother by the hand
as he is passed over to the promised land
I pray the prayer to the war heroes that have died
may your familes and friends find shelter in Christ...
