If you do not know what 'good' is or what 'works' are you have a problem.
No where are good works defined in the Bible, but just like guidance, God does not tell us when to get up or what cloths to wear, rather he leaves that to our intelligence, so he does the same about ' goodworks '.
The wisdom of God must always have the final say
and not our intelligence. Therefore, if our works are not produced and birth by the Holy Spirit, it's dead works and rotten fruit.
At the Judgement Seat of Christ, all works of the Believer must be birth and produced by the Holy Spirit. If they are not birth and produced by the Holy Spirit, it is dead works and rotten fruit.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss
(refers to the loss of reward, but not Salvation): but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1 Cor. 3:12-15
