So just be voting .

I get to decide utilities rates? No
I get to decide zoning laws?
No
I get to go set up parks etc?

Often that's a commission and most only vote .the appointees to commission is by political connection since they work for the council or commission .politicians listen to the biggest donor .

That's why I need to do a separate thread .I should use local stories such as widening of rt 60 or it's modification ,the three corners plan .

I'm not against your idea but well I have cut off people who were not bothering anyone and simply violated code and we're poor .

Of course that guy was a bit of kilter but in my state you can't live on an RV in a residential area while fixing your house .

All things that occur are related to each other. If God controls one, he must control them all.

The Bible says God controls all things (as Eph 1:11 ).

He controls “chance” events (1 Kgs 22:34 [compare vv. 20, 23]; Prov 16:33; Matt 10:29- 30).

He controls the free actions of people (Prov 21:1; Eph 2:10; Phil 2:13; cf. King Cyrus).

He controls even the sinful actions of people (Gen 45:4-8; 50:20; 2 Sam 24:1 [compare 1 Chr 21:1]; Isa 10:5; Acts 2:23; 4:27-28 [compare Matt 17:12]).

Humanistic nonsense

God does not nor cannot in any way or from have anything to do with sin or wickedness or evil deeds

He USES them for His Purposes but cannot be the cause or author

Yes, I think Christians could stand to lighten up a little bit on all the gay stuff. Let me put it this way, if I were a Christian and had a gay friend that invited me to a wedding, I would go out of respect for my friend.

So answerred prayer over death from the enemy trying to kill me in Afghanistan was just poor luck .got it .

That's God in his mercy sparing me .others not so lucky .I have photos of how close I got and one video .seconds away from a direct rocket landing where I stood . Rounds flying over me .

I could point to all of the different Christian denominations as proof that there is no universal truth to Christianity. At the very least, there is a tremendous about of disagreement over what "the truth" is.
 
I have learned a bit the hard way of how little I have power over my own ability to provide .

We love to be in control .no reformed would say we don't work only that any blessing from it (Providence ) is from God .

Tommorow isn't promised .

Satan can't kill or harm anyone without God letting him .see job .

Satan desired sift peter as wheat but Jesus seeing and knowing that interceded for Peter to be strong .in essence God blocked Satan from doing that to Peter . the Father wouldn't deny that request .

I'm not even a five pointer and see that nothing man or Satan does can thwart God .
